Good day to all. Sorry I cannot be here today. I am at the 85th Annual State FFA Conference. And I have good news to share with you. Our Novice Parli Pro team won second in the state on Saturday and two individuals from the novice team took high individual honors. That means, Super sweet.
Easy day for you today. It is a work day. You will need to continue on your schematic designs. While you are working on your design also start putting together your inspirations collage and your materials and plant palette slides.
How are these different. Your inspiration collage is one slide filled with lots of images that are helping inspire you and giving you ideas on what and how to go about the design. Your plant and materials palette slides are documenting exactly those things you are specifying in your design. It is exactly what you are giving your client. For instance, you may have a picture of a decorative pot with plants in it for a container garden in your inspiration collage. On your materials palette you will show the exact pot you are using for the design as well as the exact plants you are using in the design.
These visual aids are super important to share with the client. Having these makes your designs come to life so much more than just drawings.
On Wednesday I will be checking your progress on your designs. Friday you will need to be finishing up your schematic designs and continuing your final keynote presentations. Next week we will learn how to do a planting plan.

Workday. Let's finish up the concept drawings and get a good start to your schematic drawings.
Friday:
We will be transplanting the vegetables in the garden boxes today. Be sure to work on and finish up your schematic designs by Tuesday so you will be ready to start your planting plans on Tuesday.
